Entering the blogosphere
Dear Internet. I finally decided to try writing my own blog. I have been following the blogs of friends for a while now and have really been enjoying that but haven't been blogging myself.
When I first moved away from all my friends in Germany to Canada, I thought about writing about my experiences abroad on a web page. It never happened though. Now, once again I moved away from my friends, albeit for a much shorter distance and only temporarily. And I had planned to use this occasion to finally give blogging a try.
But I have been here in Seattle for nearly a month now and still haven't started blogging. I have been really quite busy. Which is part of the reason. But mostly I guess its just this feeling that I would have to give a complete report of every bit of my experience here so far. And this impression of a huge backlog keeps me from actually getting started. But I don't have to and I won't and so I'll just start anyway and try to get into a blogging habit and see if it is for me.
Another thing that has kept me from blogging is that my command of the english language just really isn't as good as I wish it was. Its fine in verbal communication, but when writing I still feel very clumsy and it often takes me forever to write a few sentences. But I am hoping that writing a little something on a semi-regular basis will help to improve that.
So lets see how this goes. Bear with me.

Yay, a blog entry! My jaw dropped when I saw this come up in bloglines this morning. I'd just been wondering about your blog last night...
You really don't have to write about every little experience on your blog. It's really up to you what you want to write about.

I'd love to hear more. You write well.

A lot would have happened in the last 10 years too.
Canada 🇨🇦 must have been great. Did you ski or see the Northern Lights?
